Drafting and Negotiating Commercial Leases (Part 1)

In this two-day comprehensive course you will:

• understand the nature of leasehold title and the leasehold transaction
• appreciate the impact of security of tenure for the business tenant and the commercial lease
• consider the requirements of the landlord in drafting a commercial lease
• review and amend a commercial lease on behalf of the landlord and tenant considering key clauses including; rights and reservations, repair, insurance, service charge, rent review and alienation
